Paris Plages is an event organised by The Mairie de Paris since 2002.

Every year, between July and August, for about 4 to 5 weeks, on 3,5 km, the way on Right Bank andthe place of Hôtel-de-Ville and some other annex areas — as Bassin de la Villette — welcome every one who wants to play, make some sports, stay on sun beach, grass and palm trees…
The traffic is stopped on this part of the fast way for all time of this event, from its move to dissambly.
